I got my initial training was from my dad when I was about 8 or 9 hears old. Later I got some training with the M14, M16, Colt 1911 and M60. Guess what? We actually dry fired them.

It's become more common for firearms owners to have some trauma care training, carry a med kit to the range, and have one in the car. It's a smart thing to do. It was reported in the PD and FD cadet programs Ritt had participated in, he would have gotten some emergency med training. Who cares if he short-answered a reporter with 'yes', ffs.
