‘23 LA CB Jordan Matthews (Tennessee)

Why do people keep saying, "Don't do this to yourselves." Do what, exactly? Again, if he picks us, awesome. If he does not, just because I though it was looking good for awhile and I chose to believe, it is still not any worse than if I was negative the whole time. I don't get to laugh and scoff at everyone who believed he was coming, but, then again, I would not do that anyway.

Most of them are trolling because they feed off negativity.

Ignore those jokers.

It's that told ya so, smarter than you attitude that is now part of America. Then you have those that enjoy telling others how wrong they were. Pay them no mind. Opinions are like *** holes, everyone has them

I will say the lack of Intel would make me more nervous if I were a Texas fan.

Feels like we're playing with house money at this point.

I'll tune back in at 3... See how it turns out.🍊
Right, if I were a Texas fan, this feels like the day of/before Maugoa’s commitment - all previous signs hinted that we were in a great spot, but no one could really confirm it.
not sure if I phrased that right

All under the auspice of “when we melt down”. Mostly generated by the usual characters in player threads when we miss out. You know they’re trolls because FANS recognize we’re battle hardened veterans concerning disappointments. No fan base deals better. 😎

Exactly how I feel. Texas makes the most sense based on what we know, but the lack of full-blown commitment to the idea that he is inevitably choosing them is curious, at least.

Because some people deal with loss differently. There’s a hope for the best, expect the worst approach that helps people deal when things don’t work out. Some other people stay positive the whole way, even when it doesn’t look likely, and let it ruin their day. That then sometimes leads to coach/recruit bashing, etc.

The Horns are hoping for commit No. 23 today. Defensive back Jordan Matthews of Baton Rouge Woodlawn is choosing between Texas, Michigan and Tennessee at 2pm.

Sam Spiegelman of On3 will be at the event and we will have extensive coverage.

Matthews has been a priority recruit for Terry Joseph since the winter, well before most other schools became enamored with him.

When did the heat really rise on Matthews nationally?

After he placed second in the state 200m and ran a 10.66 100-meter twice this spring. Most colleges weren’t expecting Matthews to have that kind of speed.

But Joseph was all-in on Matthews before track season even began and had built a strong relationship with Matthews and his family.

We’ll see if his early prioritization of Matthews pays dividends later today.

Coach/recruit bashing are going to happen no matter what…. Too many idiots out there.
