'22 LA RB Dylan Sampson (Tennessee signee)

Mays would be smart to come back, but I’m guessing he won’t. Which may mean he either retires from football or has to try a FA deal.
Uhh like Cade Mays? Lol he is our highest rated OL…. He will definitely get drafted.

He is projected as going ….. (number 23 guard and #92 overall) I have fixed this due to a reading error.

Everything I have seen on Mays says Mid to Late round or FA. Not a single draft mock shows him in the first round.

They show him as the 23rd ranked OG, maybe that’s what you saw

This is what I’ve seen as well. He missed so much time with injury this year. Just seems like he’d be better off coming back healthy and playing a full season. But kids don’t always make the best choices.

The issue with coming back is he could suffer a real injury that’s worse than an ankle. Then what? I would love for him to stay but I think if he gets drafted it needs to be now. You don’t risk another year when you are good enough now to go to the NFL.

Also, yeah I think that’s what I saw. Just now found a mock draft listing him getting drafted at 92.

Which one is that? 92 would probably be worth leaving for, for the reasons you mention.

For what it’s worth CBS doesn’t have him rated in the top 100 but I’m also wondering if that’s because no one really knows how to project him position wise….

Maybe he will impress at a combine? Until he got injured he was our top rated OL. Dunno, it’s a weird situation lol

He's the ultimate bully on the interior, mean and strong. Believe he has a solid career on the inside, if he stays healthy. Him and Trey are going to be nice recruiting tools, with Carvin and Spraggins right on their heels. Imo, Carvin was our best OLman this year. In the next few years, we could possibly have a nice boom in the NFL at the G, C spots.

Also, Wright coming back! People forget that kid was the numero uno coming out of high school. Another year with Elarbee, who I believe is one of the top 5 OL coaches in the land, and who knows...possibility of doing some special things across the OL in the next couple of years. I'm excited!!!

Edit: @bigl3327 I meant to quote you in this post. Replying to your Cade comments.

They don’t even know who’s available yet…and nothing after that.
