Still a long way to go but getting these guys on campus multiple times is huge.In that interview Emery says he had a great time, loves the fans passion, sees a change with Pruitt and staff in the players. He's planning a trip back next month with his parents and whole family.

Does that interview make anyone else feel like we have a legit shot here? Trying not to get too excited.
Given the expertise for finding the inside info on recruits by the posters here in the RF, I surmise that this has already been mentioned somewhere in this thread; but this morning on The Extra Point I heard it mentioned that Emery's father began his college football career here at Tennessee. No idea whether this works in our favor - just thought it was interesting.
Too lazy to find a link but I did see him quoted before his visit that his father had loved it at Tennessee and he wanted to take a look at us.
Well he made those comments and then committed to Georgia were he definitely was not guaranteed to be the number 1 back so I wouldn't worry about it. He probably just had an opinion that some coach had sold him on and he has since changed his mind. It would be easy to do with so many coaches pitching you on whatever angle they have to get you there. Besides if he comes here he will be the number one back in a year or two and would likely split carries from day one so it could help us.I want to get excited about this, but honestly its hard (for me) to get over his comments he gave in post #6 of this thread. I want to think it's just comments from an immature kid, but idk.
Still say give me Eric Gray and Tyron Davis if he flips from Bama, provided we take 2. If just one, I think Gray will be a very good one.
It rubbed you the wrong way that the #2 RB in the country sees himself as a workhorse back in college?I want to get excited about this, but honestly its hard (for me) to get over his comments he gave in post #6 of this thread. I want to think it's just comments from an immature kid, but idk.

Re-read the interview, and the following posts. I'm not the only one that noticed his seeming sense of entitlement. Spoke of wanting to be a #1, not part of a duo, but also save himself for the NFL, etc.
We all have different interpretations of written text. I could be way off. Clearly if the staff is still recruiting him then they like what he says when they speak to him. I'm just saying as a fan, he doesn't exactly come off as a team first kinda guy.
I'm on record as saying I prefer Eric Gray. Not going to keep bashing this kid.
