'19 LA RB John Emery Jr (LSU commit)

Regardless, Richt was the guy that was sending dude after dude to the NFL. Now he’s doing the same thing at Miami. Watching the drop off from Chubb and Michael’s SO to SR seasons showed me who the guru really was.

Hard to tell if you're serious about this because if you are, this is just ODD considering the season that both had last year and considering that in Chubb's junior season, he was still getting back to full strength from the knee injury.

If you are serious, well, football may not be your thing.

A good buddy of mine from UGA thinks they land 5* Clay Webb also. Many think 5* LB Owen Pappoe decommits from Auburn and signs with UGA by Feb 2018. Suddenly DB Andrew Booth has an announcement set for noon tomorrow that might mean a UGA commitment. Jesus, we should all pray Kirby Smart and Sam Pittman don't come after Morris. This is maddening.
Booth will likely commit to Clemson. Pittman has UGA in it for Webb, plus Webb has family ties to the state of Georgia; Grand parents and Mom. If Pappoe is looking for immediate playing time as has been reported; I expect him to sign with Auburn. I'm pretty sure Pittman has moved on from Morris. The only possible scenario I could fathom where Morris would end up at UGA is if Pappoe flipped to UGA and Tennessee had a poor season. The problem with that scenario is that Pittman would have to have Morris at the top of his board, which probably isn't the case right now.

Right, because Pittman already recruited over him. Maybe, just maybe, Wanya has absolutely zero interest in going to UGA and that’s why he’s not high on UGA’s board.

If Pappoe flips, he flips to UGA. He homebody. At least that is what I have been reading on my UGA boards.

Wayna was a UGA target. Pittman liked him and so did Kirby. The problem was the OL here is deep right now and Morris saw better opportunity farly PT at UT. Can't blame the kid at all and I think he will do well in Knoxville,

I reckon we will know about those noon commits in about 20 mins

The difference in the star rankings of the top few OTs is akin to splitting hairs, so it's conceivable that Pittman's board doesn't perfectly line up with the 247sports rankings. It's not a knock on any of the recruits. The reality is that no 2019 OT is going to start as a freshman at UGA. Which simply means that Pittman has some time to develop players he's recruiting. Based on camp performances, I would say Morris is more ready to start as a freshman than some of the other 2019 OTs. However, if Morris sticks with Tennessee and ends up starting as a freshman, I believe you will find he will struggle against SEC D-Linemen and Linebackers who have been playing college football for three and four years. He's not ready for that IMO, which is the case for almost all OTs coming out of high school. Morris may have told Pittman to go kick sand, or perhaps Pittman is simply targeting OTs that he believes have more upside once in a college program. We'll know in about three or four years come NFL draft time. Tennessee will have Morris being coached by Will Friend and UGA will have a couple of lower ranked players being coached by Pittman.

Booth is going to Clemson which is funny considering AU was beating their chest just a week ago about him, Webb to UGA is gaining steam. So much so that Tim Watts has already started the ‘Bama will be fine without him chant’. Webb has a lot of ties to UGA however. Pappoe isn’t going to UGA. Butchna is right as well, UGA recruited Morris but just never got any traction there, Morris wasn’t interested.
@secking if UGA gets Webb does that have any effect on Bill Norton?

I liked that because it shows your passion. Greysondawg watches Greyson HS FB...there have been seasons when Greyson could have played in the SWAC or even the Gulf Coast Conference. Georgia AAAAAAA football is on an entirely different level than you can imagine, so I am going to guess greysondawg has seen a few fooseball playas, Last winter I was talking to a former NFL player that coaches at Rome Ga HS AAAAA, and he said he had never seen talent like he has seen the last several years …Rome had 1-5* 2-4* (seniors) and 2-3* ...the 3* kids were sophomores I think. He said the Greyson was off the hook talented.

...you understand that GreysonDawg is widely regarded as the biggest UGA troll on this site, constantly posting nonsense like UGA recruited over a player in the upcoming 2019 class with a kid from 2021, right? Clearly you don’t know his history or his idiocy.

Say, what year was Todd Gurley drafted? The same year he got injured?

Yeah, football is my thing. Chubb got worse. That’s the truth. Sorry not sorry the truth hurts.

No problem bro. But he is preaching the gospel. Maybe he could have worded it differently; saying that Morris just wasn't as good of a body fit or something that just didn't fit...who knows. But Greysondawg has seen the kid play againstsome of the top HS players in the south, and I would be willing to bet he knows something that you and I do not. I hope he does well and congratulations to him for a scholarship!

I think I may be agreeing with Tdawg if you really believe that.
