In the thursday game i thought Eve was going to give the match away by leaving number 2 in so long. They were serving to her ev ery time and she did poorly. Not seeing some of the older taller ladies much so far but hell she is the coach

This team is not good. Can’t pass or set and are way too reliant on one player for hitting. This is going to be a rough year in SEC play.

UT played 2 top 5 teams very close, not sure UT isn't good. Maybe just haven't gelled as a team just yet. UT started out 9 to 5 on set 3, then Bama went in a huge run to go up 18 to 14, amd now it's tied up 18 to 18, timeout Bama.

Bama hasn’t beaten a ranked team since the Obama administration. A loss at home would be very bad. Need to close this out

Three-hour match and the teams split 33 service errors. It feels like we have started over as the rotating and PT has changed over the past few games.
Putbacks, on an unrelated note, you mentioned a while back that you thought that Camdyn Stucky, the reserve setter, may be redshirting this season. I think you may be right on that. I think Eve is trying to get some distance between her and Caroline Kerr as
far as their academic year classification. It makes sense, if the two players are two years apart class-wise. After the other setter who is a fifth-year senior runs out of eligibility next season that would make Camdyn the primary backup for Kerr.

The staff seems to prioritize redshirting when it makes the most sense. I will say that the 3 freshman who have played so far portend good things for the future. I think we have a 6-4 OH out of VA committed for 2026. There is a 6-1 OH from FL committed for next year. Regret we get just one season of Cajic. She has been phenomenal. The portal has been good to us too.

How are the Lady Vols Volleyball team doing this year? Have not caught a game, but just joined Vol Nation.
I'll take shot at this. They definitely don't have the weapons they did last year. Replacing five key players has proven difficult. The setter, Caroline Kerr, and OH Nina Cajic are having outstanding seasons. Both should be first team all-SEC selections. They have some very promising freshman that should be key contributors in time. I believe the current record is 9-5 overall and 2-2 in SEC. They did play a very strong non-conference schedule. Welcome to VN!
