Lady Vols #7 seed in the NCAA Tournament

South Carolina can be great, but they can also play really gritty ball and can struggle putting points on the board, meaning UT has a chance to keep it close and make a few plays down the stretch.

Final Four-I will be STUNNED beyond belief if Tennessee makes it this far, but in the event they do, Notre Dame is much more beatable than UCONN.

Championship-I don't think Tennessee has a prayer against UCONN, but if they somehow knock of Arizona State, Ohio State, South Carolina AND Notre Dame, I'll be more optimistic at that point.

Ohio State may be playing poorly as of late but that matchup is horrible for us. Our guard play is awful. Kelsey Mitchell will have a field day.

On paper???? This team Has been overrated all year thanks to a coach that has no business being a head coach..... Mark it down we will not advance past the opening round.... Green Bay 64 Tennessee 46

Alston (19 ppg) has been out with a wrist injury. She has recovered and is expected to be fine for the NCAA Tournament.

Green Bay is solid, solid, solid. AND, they have no fear. Given the chance, they will run away with it.

That said -- I really think that if Tennessee can win one, they will win three. An opening win over Green Bay will give them the confidence to go on and get the next two. Beyond that? Who knows. Seven seeds aren't supposed to get to the second weekend, so at that point it's all gravy.

If they come in and play like they did the first two games of the SEC tourney, then yes they can win a few games. This team is so iffy, you just have to wait and see!

this is actually is a good bracket for us. we can beat green bay but can't take them lightly and they will play zone but if we play hard we should beat them on boards and the half court press will bother them . same thing for ASU. I think if we can get by ohio state then we have a to beat south Carolina .. ALL and ALL we have a good bracket.

This is a good bracket. Honestly it's tough but all games are winnable depending on what team shows up. They could make the final four if they bring their A game

I agree. Honestly, I think if this team plays with some consistency and gets shots to fall (something we haven't seen 90% of the season), they could be the toughest team in the region for SC to face. A Sweet 16 would be a nice finish to a really bad season. Elite 8 would be great, and the first Final Four in 8 years would be unheard of. I don't think anyone sees it happening, but I think if the stars align, there's an opportunity. Tennessee is a total wildcard though, they also could easily lose to any of the teams seeded 9-16, so it's a total crap shoot. The only thing I feel certain about is that they don't have a chance against Notre Dame or Connecticut.

It's not just one bad year. When's the last time the LVs made a Final Four? (Some of that is on Pat as well).
