Diamond has a tough decision to make, she has stated that she wants to be the one to get the lady vols back to the final four & with the roster next year that is a possible. She has a chance to be the #1 pick in this years draft but I think she will be top #2 in next years draft. She probably doesn't believe holly can put the team in position to win a national championship.

Can't you read? I agree with you that they will be bad and probably lose ......... I don't care about wins and loses!!!!!!! Just hate watching this crappy effort and ineptness of playing a game I love. If Mercedes would show one ounce of effort or if someone drives into the lane for a lay up... instead of trying to block the shot and not disturbing the shooter.... she instead fouls the person and knocks her to the floor or into the bleachers about three rows up!!!! Send a message! Just once play aggressive??? Not the patty cake - patty cake - patty cake I don't want to touch anyone! Jheeeze what a wimp!!!! 🚽

Can YOU read? Even with a Mercedes half-assing it, she still produces more when she's on the floor than Qui/Harris' best and everyone knows it. Whether her effort meets your lofty standards is irrelevant. "OMG!!!!!!!!! She only had 13 rebounds and 2 blocks!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DOESN'T SHE HAVE THIRTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!??!?!"

I love how people like you look at the box score and see MR with a double double and conclude that she's the reason they aren't a better team because she's "soft" or whatever. Yeah, the fact that Tennessee has a sorry selection of guards has nothing to do with it. But it's Mercedes' fault.

One thing I think will weight big in her decision is her health. DD is very injury prone, always has been. Do you risk one more yr of college and injury to be in the same place you are now just a yr later?

I honestly don't see the incentive for her to stay. Try to win a NC with a group of talented incoming freshmen, but with Holly as the coach? Surely she knows better.

I definitely hope Mercedes comes back she would be a big help for KK and we could use the five fouls. Would allow us to play a lot more aggressive and lesser minutes may be just what Mercedes needs to get her motor up higher. When you know your in for 35 minutes or more you may be more inclined to pace yourself.

Yes Yes! We lost control when we let Moore get hot and Diamond couldnt get started and lost control with her 4 foul. It was too late for TOs then. Then we went into panic mode and mismanaged TOs with like 2 mins to go. Any coach should know that if you start to see a team heat up and your team is stagnant call the freaking TO.

Every player on every team in the country can "transfer" or leave at any time. That's not something unique to the Lady Vols.

I think that looking at what's probable, the biggest concern is if Diamond and Mercedes opt out of their final year of eligibility and turn pro. That wouldn't surprise me in the least bit.

I have also have my doubts about Harris sticking around, unless she's content with never seeing the floor. I can't imagine she will play much next year with KK and Green, and even less the following year with Collins and any other post freshmen recruits coming in.

A lot of things could happen, that probably won't. In fact, you could look at any program in the country and say, "oh this player COULD transfer or this upperclassman might apply for grad transfer."

Of your statements, the facts are that Nunn and Reynolds have used up their eligibility; everything else is a conjecture.

You do understand that saying "I could win the lottery" is different from actually winning the lottery?

But in this context, your "facts" seems like someone wanting and hoping that everything that can go wrong for the LVs program, will go wrong. I guess LV "fandom" comes in all forms.

I would be surprised if she transferred, but I agree there was a problem with body language on this team.

And for those who think body language isn't a big deal, I suggest watching Geno's first round postgame conference if you haven't already. Whether you can't stand the guy or not, he is spot on....

Not fouling at the end of the game sums up Holly and this team. They are inattentive, inconsistent, and unsound fundamentally. We aren't a smart team nor do we bring consistent effort. It's all on the coaches. GBO!!!!

Hard to see Jaime transferring... or DD staying. Both are very practical and they're going to make smart decisions for their future. DD was very frank in her comments after the Louisville loss. I think something would need to change to convince her-- and her family-- that another year at UT would be in her best interests.

Where have you seen quotes from DD after the Louisville game? I haven't seen any. Please share where you saw these quotes.
