Game we definitely should be a Super Regional home team. We just beat the best in the SEC 7 wins and 4 losses on a brutal 11 game stretch.

Honestly...I'd have walked her...set up the force at any base and like you said a GS won't kill you.

Ralph is also one heck of a good guy and knows more about softball than you and I combined. On the other hand some of his calls make me scratch my head and a few make me grind my teeth, but those are rare. He drives Karen nuts at times too...and vice versa.

Agreed...I'm thinking 7 seed....but either way it's hosting the Super and a big leg up on getting back to OKC. I'm already booked into my favorite motel close to the ASA stadium.

So it's looking like we'll play the winner of LSU/Arkansas on Thursday. LSU is dealing with pitcher injuries, so we could see Walljasper again.

He is a great guy. I would say the best in our league and maybe anywhere. I would not trade him for those two dogs at fl and abarn or ala for that matter. None of this keeps him from knowing more or being hard headed!

Monster win today.We may get a top 8 seed after the win today and our performance over the last three weeks. We should--but I'm biased. We did well. I saw a post that said 9 teams (including us, after our win today) were competing for 8 seeds. If memory serves, they were florida, arizona, fsu, washington, ucla, minnesota, auburn, oregon, tennessee. This poster thought that florida, fsu, oregon, auburn and one other (forget) were locks. What has auburn done that we haven't? I think the answer is nothing. Can minnesota match our rpi? In any case, we shall see. I think arizona has lost 4 of its last six. And orgeon was poised earlier in the day two beat fsu for the second time. I like where the Vols are. We proved our mettle against a brutal end-of-season schedule--and even so probably left at least one win (last lsu game) on the table.

I'm not sure that Bearden is the answer at first. It may be that we go with Holcomb in left, Vines at first and McSwain as DH. I think the player who has pushed her way into the lineup is Wiemer. I am STILL optimistic about Rowland--I think she will hit. Seggern wit a nice hit today--getting back on track. Great win today.
