You are definitely not the arbiter of this forum. You say the same thing over and over. UT lost the last 4 of 5 SEC games so anyone posting can only do it win they win? Go eat another idiot sandwich!
someone else said this to you yesterday, not me dude. i only notice you when we lose tho, when we win you don’t say a thing usually - take friday for example. most people post when we win or lose, negatives and positives. that’s ok but the constant negatives get old. i understand your displeasure for the weeklys but you got to stick it out until they retire.

The RPI isn’t the be all and end all, unless you actually believe Oklahoma is only the 7th best team in the country lol. And besides it hasn’t even been updated yet to account for getting swept by the worst team in the SEC and following that with a home series loss.

It isn't the end-all, be-all but it's most definitely the single biggest criteria for the selection committee. Oklahoma, because of their horrible SOS, is lower in RPI than they should be, and they likely won't be a top 3 seed.

I think TN will be a national seed but they had a real shot at being a top ten seed with two wins at MSU, a series win vs Mizzou and a good showing at the SECT, all of which are gone out the window. Now we are likely to be matched up with a team like Alabama, Florida or Oklahoma in the SRs. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we get Bama or Florida in the Supers because the SelCom loves pitting SEC teams (especially UT) against each other there. Any team with even a decent pitching staff and we are dead. We can't hit vs. good pitchers, let alone vs. elite ones. As for pitching, better hope that Ashley Rogers' riseballs aren't flat like they were today, and a team has trouble hitting junk pitchers like Callie. Even with that, we aren't going to win if our offense sputters. I could easily see this team losing in the regional. As a matter of fact at this point I'd be surprised if we win our regional. With a lower national seed, not only does that open us up to having to play a top team in the SRs, but it opens us up to having a good team like VT or Duke in our regional.

no but it’s different, most are here win or lose and weigh in with on the teams positives and negatives. you are full of negatives. There’s a difference.

hate to be that person, but state is not the worst team in the conference- that would be carolina. if state can get into the tournament they will be a hard team to beat for anyone. their offense is very good.

Nobody on here cares about Mississippi St. They won’t go far in the tournament either.

I would welcome anyone outside of the SEC.....this conference is so draining....I'll never forget the committee pitting us against A&M in a super knowing we had just played them two weeks prior and won the series

What a choke job that was. They won the first game then lost the next 2 at home I might add.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they especially put us against Arkansas or Florida because we didn’t play them in the regular season. Personally, I don’t think we will get lucky enough to play Arkansas because I think they’ll be seeded in the 6-8 range.

Imagine if we play Arkansas in the SEC tourney and they still put them against us for a potential super

There is a reason why Megan is now on staff a lot of it is getting back to the south to recruit.....as we have talked about
Thats correct, but having Megan back and she is mending bridges does not mean change isn’t going to happen. Her work now will be for later, 21 class and 22 classes are over with maybe a few in the class of 2022 switching if a few on the roster leave.

Agreed I'm excited she gets to work the the kid from Washington next year....She is a worker and it seem like Pickens is too

One thing Missouri has is girls with strong legs without a lot of extra weight. A lot of power even in fast pitch comes your lower half. We could use some more development there. A number on our bench almost disappear if they turn sideways. Either we are unlucky as a program (not uncommon for a UT team) or we are missing something in strength and conditioning to rack up the amount of injuries we have had. Many before the season even started.

I watched Oklahoma yesterday and they have the type player you are describing above. Also, those women are up there hacking at the plate. They must have 5 or 6 players hitting over .300 with at least 5 homeruns each. I think one player had 26 HR based on stats flashed on the TV screen.
I think the conference OK plays in accounts for the gaudy stats. I believe someone said the SOS for Oklahoma was horrible.
