On a 1-2 count you can't let Hemphill get a barrel on it. Bender has pitched enough to know that. Bad coaching to pitch to her, but thats on Bender. She pitch well to that one mistake.

Chiming in from the stands here......but ummmm we weren't even supposed to be here it's been a great run so far.....Bender has shown me that she can pitch game 1 of a regional and let Ashley handle game 2 and game 3.....Maybe Callie will pitch better at home

Karen went out there and probably asked ashley if she was ready and obviously she wasn’t. You can’t over-pitch ur ace. this was benders game to lose

Not upset with the team at all but that kind of coaching will beat you in the the tournament. Even if Ashley could not come back in you don’t pitch to Hemphill with benders lack of speed.
