LaMarcus Coker suspension

The whole marijuana things is vague to me. I think we all need absolute proof before passing judgment.

Considering the lack of respect we've been getting on a national level lately, this negative news is on all the Sports web front pages. Disrespectful to the fullest!

You are going to be gone long before that if you don't stop provoking and turning every thread into a discussion on Tedford.
Funny you would mention that Freak.I was reading the numerous post with a lot of interest, then slowly but surely Teddyhead hijacked the thread.:banghead2::furious3:

Contact high from breathing the air in the athletic dorm when Wingate and Coker were in school

This reeks of James Banks all over again. Our one dynamic playmaker gone because of stupid bs.

Why does this stuff keep happening to us?

8-5 here we come.

See 1990 and 1998 for the last two times we lost star runningbacks early on.
You're using the term star very loosely. If Coker gets such designation, Gerald Riggs deserves it for 2005. How did that turn out?

Just pointing out that we've lost much more valuable pieces of the puzzle than Coker before and still had success.

I agree with that. However, I don't see Carl Pickens, Alvin Harper, Dale Carter, Peerless Price, Al Wilson, or Raynoch Thompson on this roster.

Do you see anyone on the roster that might come close to one of the above?

Maybe . . . maybe not. In 1990, Carl Pickens was a promising sophmore and Dale Carter was a JUCO transfer. They were like a lot of guys on this year's team - full of potential and not much else.

No, but we could still have a pretty good season regardless. The SEC East is up for grabs this year with so many question marks. At any rate, Coker probably would have end up being third on the depth chart come September 1st. Foster and Hardesty are more than capable to carry the load.

This really sucks. I was looking for Coker to have a big year. It looks like Hardesty will get a shot in the backfield with Foster now.

AT LAST!!! A VOICE OF REASON!
