Just think its funny that people are butthurt over Lane when the same people would do the exact same thing if they were in his shoes and their dream job came open.

I am curious, but why didnt any big time P5 school hire Kiffin? I mean he has HC experience, comes from the Saban coaching tree and has an offensive mind. So whats the problem?

Florida is a good cultural fit for Lane. Hope he stays there for all 10 years....but I doubt that...lol

Also, Pat Haden was a horrible AD. Had anyone known the sanctions would have been as bad as they were, any USC fan, Admin, or booster would have gladly taken a 28-15 record over 3.5 years.

Your best defense of him is what he’s done this year at FAU, which is impressive, but not nearly enough when judged against the rest of his resume’. And if all of that weren’t enough, he’s an unlikable, trolling, twitter addict who’s best skill is self promotion. Do. Not. Want.

How about you find a list of college or pro coaches that took over a program, in any sport, that won 25% of their games the previous year and then won their conference championship the following year.

It will be a short list.

Feels weird agreeing with allvol123 on something, but he's exactly right. Win totals with zero context don't mean much. Butch took over a 12-1 team at Cincinnati; overall record without context is why so many geniuses here thought he was a good hire in the first place.

Good for Lane. Not many better places to live than Boca, it’s beautiful over there.

Really good football coach too, it feels like a good match between the two.

Had Blackburn been named AD back in the spring like he should have....

He would be in the process of hiring Lane Kiffin after the ass kicking his lowly FAU team just put on Terry Bowden.

Akron sucks but I know UT couldn't have scored 50 on Akron and not sure many other SEC teams could've either..

It's just simply time for you fools to recognize Kiffin is one of the best coaches in the country.
