Lane Kiffin's 'dream job' will pay him $4 million. For ... what, again?

Hat may have strong personal opinions about certain people, but it's hard to say he doesn't have objectivity regarding team/coaching performance...

I'm not sure. I don't consider assuming they will fail to be very objective.

Why not? Although I'm not absolutely certain of Dooley's failure like Hat seems to be, I can't help but assume he'll fail. I'm sure you make assumptions that certain coaches chances for success at other jobs. Why is it wrong to do it here?

I bet the players are eternally grateful you'll be there as they try to upset Kentucky in the season finale to get bowl eligible.

I'm sure the Athletic Department will be eternally grateful the next hateful email you send demanding Dooley's head or you wont buy any tickets. That'll show 'em!

Yeah, because failure in a glorified high school conference is a great indication of future SEC success. I'm still waiting for the "We shood giv Dooolee time" crowd to name a guy who failed at a jerkwater stop, then came to the SEC and succeeded.

I don't bother to send people emails. I simply do what I and about 20% of the fan base do when the product is trash, I vote with my wallet. If it had been left to the 80% of the fanbase that has no standards and really just sucks as human beings, we'd be in year 6 of "Fillup Fulmir deeserves one mor yeer."

I have no problem making assumptions. But, what I have learned from just one year in my engineering courses is; if you are certain the experiment will fail, it is almost certain that you will. Luckily, I'm sure the coaches do not have this same outlook on this season.

So pretty much, I will have faith in this staff and I will hold my judgement until they prove themselves actually on the field.

Idk what's worse, though. That, or the rumor of PF as a future UT AD :banghead2:

The AD rumor is much worse.
Not really. Watching him do another job he's thoroughly incapable of handling would serve the Thortons of the world right. It would almost be worth it to see him fired a second time.

I'm not really sure what you wanted Hammy to do in his situation. Wait until we had completely lost this signing class and set us back four more years? That sounds like a great idea!

In that case I am glad it's only 20% of the fanbase that is like you.

I love how you assume that just because a fanbase actually likes their team they have no standards. Have you ever considered they actually enjoy football and like the University? Oh yeah, that's right we should all be objective and never enjoy anything.

If you enjoyed watching Alabama take over Neyland Stadium in '08, you're the enemy of the University not me.

Why are we wasting so much money on scoreboards? Since 80% of our fanbase doesn't care if we win or lose, why bother? It can be like youth soccer. We can give all the players cheap trophies and orange wedges after the game. It'll be a great big Tennessee Lovefest.

Never said that. Good try though.

I just think the idea that not renewing your season tickets, when they have boosters and luxury box ticket holders pumping millions into the University, is going to make that much of a difference is fairly funny.

I hope, just as much as I assume you do, that the program is back on top soon. I just know that there is little to nothing that I can do about the outcome or the amount of time it takes for us to get back on top.

Ofcourse I do. Thats why I sat there with all the Alabama fans wearing all of my orange as we got the snot kicked out of us.
Exactly. You should have been talking about how good the popcorn was and how cool it is that the Game Maxims were on the big screen during pregame.

I never said it doesn't matter if we win or lose. I simply said I will support them either way. It's understandable you putting words in my mouth though, it helps your argument. Good job.

Ask Phillip Fulmer how well his friends in the luxury boxes saved him from a crowd of about 60,000 against Mississippi State and Neyland Stadium colored Crimson.
