Large Explosion in downtown Nashville

I don't think so.

It could be but I have a feeling this was a warning to show how easily our networks can be brought down.

I am also shocked like many of you that 1 freaking building controls so much grid. You would think they have work arounds for something like this or the servers would be below ground and protected from earthquake level explosions....which clearly they aren't.

This country has to wake up and be more prepared.
Hell you should have seen it a few years ago. When they were building Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta some yahoos on the construction crew cut a fiber line. It took out Verizon cell lines from Macon to Chattanooga. At 911 it took out about 80% of our wireless 911 trunks. We were down to land lines and just odd ball cell service on 911 for 2 days. Just from one fiber bundle being cut, and the idiots did it twice!

AT&T was heavily involved in the internet and phone system spying in conjunction with the NSA. Info was released in the Snowden papers. Draw your own conclusions.

Yep, the one in California. Room 641A, which held a server for the NSA in a building operated by AT&T. Room 641A - Wikipedia

This building stored telecommunications equipment. I'd say it's possible the NSA have a data server there as well. The one in California is blurred on street view and so is the one in Nashville.

Likely the explosion caused damage to unprotected fiber optic cables below the street. The explosion caused 911 services to go down in multiple states. So, someone could technically do this at multiple sites and cause a larger shutdown in many states. The building isn't really a corporate building, as it doesn't really have much in the way of windows. It's pretty secure looking. Usually corporate building would have windows for employee morale. Could be a chance the bomb was an EMP.

There is also a lot of talk about the people who own the building. Cerberus Capital Management owned the building in 2007. Hootan Yaghoobzadeh is the current owner of Staple Street Capital, which owns the Dominion Voting Systems. He worked for Cerberus Capital as Senior Vice President from 2003-2009. He also is a sitting board member of Dominion Voting Systems.

Some are saying that it's not a coincidence.

How the hell is this much AT&T infrastructure wrapped up in a building on 2nd Ave? Seems a terrible design...
I have lived in Middle TN all my life and you would be surprised as to what is hidden in plain site. Although I would never say where, but if any of you new where one of the local police departments stored confiscated weapons you would be shocked.
