Am I one of few that actually believe that Larry Brown would be a great hire and doesn't see it as a pipe dream? I think we bring in Larry Brown for 3-5 years, let him do his thing, and then probably promote from within depending on what assistants he brings. I think at this point, pedigree and name are vital. We cannot hire an up and comer that recruits aren't going to recognize. My first choice would be Chris Mooney outside of Frank and Brown. After that, the pool becomes more diluted. Tupaka Smart seems like he can get the job done, but I don't think he is a better coach than Anthony Grant. VCU is a vastly underrated program. They have a stable of local talent and less stringent academic requirements than the SEC and other major conference schools. Buzz Williams would be a nice fit and would make the Daddy Maymon's effin day! Hahaha
