Larry Brown would be an amazing coach. But who seriously would want this job after our previous coach got sacrificed to the NCAA over a itty bitty BBQ violation.... My point is, who in their right mind would want to work for the weakest AD in the nation?

He lied to the NCAA. He did not get sacrificed...he did it and we all need to move on. I hate it because he brought back men's basketball to UT, but he was guilty. Everyone blames Hammy, but it wasn't his fault Bruce lied and violated rules. A year ago everyone was praising Hammy for hiring Bruce!
I'm not sure any of those are even remotely comparable. For example, wasn't the Minnesota situation a wide-spread academic fraud scandal?
Wouldn`t it be ironic that we get the same big hammer from the NCAA after CBP is gone that they would have given us if we kept him around....

But look at all the turmoil surrounding our bball program the last few seasons. The gun issues the new violations etc. And with what happen in football as well I don't see how we haven't been hit with Lack of control.

I heard the NCAA was looking to start start hammering individuals responsible for sanctions harder than the universities. IMO this makes more sense. Peolpe should be responsible for their actions and take responsibility instead of making the school, players, and fans suffer.
