Everything on here is opinion, so I shared an opinion similar to mine. Sorry, I'll dumb it down more for you next time since the conversation was too complex.

Didn't read that linked article, but hasn't Biden come out in support of the Green New Deal in the past? Implementing it will be costly. Do you really think now, in the midst of an economic crisis, is the best time to be promoting something that will cost more money?

It's an opinion yes but he is adopting several progressive views

The groups call on Biden to endorse policy initiatives like "Medicare for All," canceling all student debt, taxing wealth and the Green New Deal framework of a fully clean energy economy by 2030. They make process demands like eliminating the legislative filibuster and adding seats to the Supreme Court. And they include personnel wishes like rejecting Wall Street or other corporate executives for important roles and picking a Homeland Security chief committed to "dismantling ICE and CBP as we know them," referring to Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection.

So this is what I hear.

1. Medicare for All, I want to work in a free lance job so I can work when I feel like it but I won't have benefits so I want the government to take care of this.
2. Cancelling all my student load debt because I just literally wasted 4 years of my life and now they're ready to throw me out into the real world and I cant even get a job with this finger painting degree.
3. The new green deal lol damn farting cows
4. Adding seats to the supreme court, well we gotta have more progressives than we do Democrats/ Republicans to push our views.
5. Dismantling ICE and CBP, this makes these kids look the dumbest out of all the demands. They're whining because they can't find jobs and the government won't take care of them, so what's going to happen when you just openly allow people in the country and you add more people for the government to take care of? Not to mention the drug cartels would love to come and go as they please.


I have nothing against Democrats nor do I have anything against Republicans, I feel like both sides bring some great ideas to the table. However I can't stand the far right or the far left, both are radical and destructive.

I personally don't mind the medicare for all thing. Yeah, we all talk about how to pay for it but the government just magically created what, 4 trillion dollars for this pandemic so I think the funding portion is going to be a moot point eventually. Personally, I go to the doctor so infrequently it isn't that big of a deal but I do think that maybe some legislation that actually helps Americans, all Americans, would be a good thing.

Medicare for all ONLY if the quality of healthcare stays the same or improves. I, like you don't go to the doctor often but I know there are a lot of people in this country that go on a weekly basis

I don't go weekly but I go a hell of a lot. I have an ungodly amount of doctors. I'm not sure if that's normal for all transplant recipients or not, but I had several complications after the surgery, so I see several specialists a few times a year. It's a pain in the ass.
