... but that would only be problematic for someone who is more concerned with the political ramifications of the statistics, than he is with the health and well-being of the public-at-large.
The press is concerned with the statistics ... but the press isn't suggesting that the vast number of tests being conducted is a bad thing, as Trump just did.
Nobody forced Trump to say something as dopey as:The press is only concerned about how they can present the statistics.
Nobody forced Trump to say something as dopey as:
"... If we didn't do any testing, we would have very few cases." - Donald Trump
What a stupid thing to say. Yeah, let's just bury our heads in the sand, and it will miraculously go away. Nobody would become ill with the symptoms of the Coronavirus, if we didn't do any testing for it, right? Trump is such a moron.

Mom had a heart attack in 2012 and had two stints put in. Her heart is only working at 60% because she waited so long to call us with chest pains. She's been on HQC since 2014 for lupus joint pain.
Any questions?
No, he is not 100% correct. If we didn't do as much testing, we would likely have even more people becoming ill with the symptoms of the coronavirus, because the people who have the virus but aren't symptomatic, wouldn't know to be in isolation from those who are more at risk of becoming seriously ill with it. The only thing not testing as much would accomplish is cutting down on the number of confirmed cases among those who are asymptomatic. However, that doesn't necessarily cut down on the overall number of cases - if those people who are asymptomatic are (out of ignorance) infecting other, more at risk, people. He's correct. Badly presented but he is 100% correct.
