Just looking at the guy from pictures I would say his weight is playing a huge factor in his ability to recover quickly. Not saying the virus is a hoax but this guy is fighting an uphill battle already without any illnessFormer Coronavirus Skeptic Warns Others To Take Pandemic Seriously After Infection
"Brian Lee Hitchens said he used to believe COVID-19 was a “fake crisis.” Now he’s imploring people to listen to the experts."
I looked also. Could find nothing on it.The only place I can find any firsthand acknowledgement that this was classroom material is a tweet from a lady in England who said it was used in a powerpoint for her daughter's class. Is it actually being used here in the US?
That is interesting. I compared Sweden vs the US and the death rate was higher there as well. Basically, if we had Sweden's death rate we would have about 115K deaths right now. That's not taking into account population density but I was just curious how Sweden compared to the US. Rounding to the nearest whole, we would have 26 deaths per 100K while Sweden has 35 deaths per 100K.Davidson County - 40 deaths / 694,144 people = 5.76 deaths/ 100 k pop (pop density = 1,326 /sq mi)
Shelby County - 81 deaths / 937,166 people = 8.64 deaths/ 100 k pop (pop density = 1,194 / sq mi)
Knox County - 5 deaths / 470,313 people = 1.06 deaths/ 100 k pop (pop density = 822 / sq mi)
Stockholm County - 1,463 deaths / 2,344,000 people = 62.4 deaths/ 100 k pop (pop density = 945 / sq mi)
So, the per capita death rate is about 8-60x higher in Stockholm County vs. some of Tennessee's most populous counties, which are somewhat similar in population density. I think roughly 10x is a pretty good way to think of it rather than the 60x because Knox County has just struck me as remarkable on how low the death count is there during this.
I'd believe it. MA and MI are seeing 60-70% of their deaths in these facilties. Last I saw NY was in the 20s. Doesnt seem correct.
Disregard my earlier post where I assumed you knew what he meant. Nevermind. No, he is wrong and your logic is missing an essential element. The people who have the Coronavirus but are asymptomatic can pass on the virus to other people, who are members of a more at risk population of becoming seriously ill. A key component in the fight against this virus is isolating the asymptomatic people from people who are more at risk of becoming seriously ill with the Coronavirus. An asymptomatic person wouldn't know to do that, without this testing.
Ironic quote is extremely ironic.Colleges Are Deluding Themselves
"We must ask ourselves: What would make leaders gamble with human life this way? The answer is twofold: fear and acquiescence—both of which, when left unchecked, lead down a path to moral damnation. "
This was always going to be the left's strategy "see if we didn't suspend your constitutional rights you all would have died"
15 days to flatten the curve right? How long ago was that?
Please, you all love this. You all enjoy the power by dictator wanna be's like Newsome. Even better than that the economic collapse is a liberals dream scenario
Exactly right. You know they get off using their new powerFirst it was we need to flatten the curve.
Then it was we need to get testing numbers up.
Now it’s we need a vaccine.
Next? Probably we need to wait and see if the vaccine is effective next year.
This has to stop. Burócratas love to control the people.
