It’s not unheard of that people who fight off a virus get it again. Less than 1% according to a friend of mine who does medical research at Vandy. He said there’s usually something wonky with the immune system on those instances, though. But this is 5 guys out of 4,000. So in line with less than 1%

I’ll be very interested to see better numbers once New York addresses the number of patients from nursing homes that died in hospitals. As the numbers were originally stated, it looked like NY had a 2x lower probability of death in their nursing homes than NJ - but turns out the states might be counting numbers differently.

4K had not initially been infected though. Actual number is probably classified.

You may not have a choice. Don't put words out there that you may be forced to eat later on. If they mandate that you can't work at your job without taking the vaccine, you will have a decision to make... we all will have a decision to make.

The sailors have been tested using the nasal swab. And in some cases the infection can be at such a low level that it is not detected by the test. It’s not clear whether cases like these are actual relapses, or if people tested negative without really being completely clear of the virus.

Do you know the difference between NY state and NYC? Cuomo doesn't control the subway. De Blassio does.
