Some Red State/Blue State COVID facts
1) New York has more deaths than all the red states combined
2) NY and NJ have more cases than all the red states combined
3) 77% of all deaths have occurred in Blue states
4) 68% of all cases are in blue states
5) 86% of all cases in the south can be traced back to NY
Keep in mind that there are more states and a higher population in red states.

Context...........
“I hope they’ll consider this: the next time they want to salute and celebrate our heroes, our first responders, our police officers and firefighters, consider the fact that they are the first ones who will be laid off by cities and counties,” Mr. Newsom said.

Still didn't help him sound any better.

Comon' man. These remind me of the classic "ice cream sales cause gun violence" statistic.

I think maybe there are other factors at play you aren't mentioning.

Literally all 5 points trace back to NY, where the population density is exponentially higher than anywhere else.

Yeah, there are other factors. Like sending C19 positive patients into nursing homes. Think that might contribute towards 26K dead in nursing homes?

Here's another: Why did it take until late April to clean and disinfect the subways?

Those are no brainers. I think we can all agree that those kinds of decisions lead to C19 deaths

Yes a place where the governor and mayor were at late as March 5 making public announcements for people not changing anything. NY 💩 their pants population density should have been taken into consideration. And that bozo Cuomo should be charged with criminal neglect for all the nursing home deaths with all the availability of hospital beds in that 💩hole

Well here is one reason...The mayor and health commissioner were telling people to go out and ignore warnings well into March

Surprised it isn't mandated by your work. We were told we had to wear one but could take it off in our office.

I was informed today that we would be expected to wear masks in the office as well. When they will actually open again is unknown. I’m assuming that I can just hole up in my office work the door closed and keep the mask off.
