I wouldn't be surprised to see that in many states after this all shakes out. I think revisions both increasing and decreasing the data will be common.

Me thinks they have their priorities messed up. I bet you could walk into their big city halls an easily round up 1000 people who dont help with anything.

I am always amazed by the process to visit the Office of Buildings in Atlanta now, well ore Covid. Go thru security, ok. Go to the Office of Buildings, sign in at the front desk on the tablets, three people behind the desk whose only job is to tell you to use the tablet. Then there is someone who leads me to a waiting area, I wait, they go talk to someone at the desk. That person at the desk then comes out to get my info and who I want to talk to and about what project. Desk person goes back, and talks to whichever person I need to talk to. That person comes out, asks me why I am there, and then has to go back and get the relevant project info. I just interacted with 5 unnecessary people just to tell the 6th the same exact thing I did before they added the extra steps.

Even something as simple as turning in drawings goes thru the same process. What should take 5 minutes instead takes 30. Thanks government.

Several years ago I had a coworker that created a report for our boss. Report started to get a lot of visibility, and some of the reportees were upset because the data made them look less favorable. It was because some the data was not all pulled at the same time for all the employees. Employee month over month was fine but comparing employee to employee was not possible. Boss ask that the data be synced. The report generator either didn't know how or didn't want to, so our boss found someone else to redo the report.
DO you think that could be the case here?

I'm relaying what she said to the media upon being ousted. Thing is, she did this reporting for awhile and no one had a problem with it. She answered media questions.

Then the mood shifted to pressure to reopen. She was told to alter the numbers in some way (not reported that I know of). She refused and was fired.

When you add that on to prior reports of local officials being pressured to conceal numbers and cases, well, it tends to corroborate her claim.

This is kinda what I was wondering about next. Is if all you have is a cloth mask, is there something you can OTC do to treat it that wouldnt be trading Covid for bleach or some other fun chemical based cancer?

The numbers are what people want to make them. We have Covid deaths attributed to symptoms early on because there wasn't a test available. CO has gone back and revised their numbers because they know they were inflated. Brix has stated that the numbers are wrong (both ways) and need to be adjusted. She thinks she is right, refused to comply and was replaced.... simple as that.
My company has instituted a policy that I must wear a mask in all common areas. They gave me a mask, and I wear it, why? Because they are paying me well, and I want to keep my job. WHether I think I need it or not...they are right when I'm on their dime.

IF you believe that Nurses and healthcare workers will be "laid off by cities and counties" if the feds don't give the state money, then you are easily fooled
