Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Yes, it would be unnecessary, because hydroxychloroquine has not been proven to be effective as a preventive measure against the contraction of the coronavirus. Hence the reason, there are trials being conducted. There is no reason for the President of the United States to be a subject in a clinical trial study. This is common sense.

Doesn't mean it's dangerous.

You want to list them and their political affiliation?
I can list them... but how the hell are you supposed to know the political affiliation of a physician? Or if there even is one? This is the era of Trump - where everyone is assumed to have a political agenda. Nobody is simply giving professional opinions anymore.

He has access to immediate medical evaluation constantly, I doubt this drug is that dangerous for someone with that luxury.

Yep. If she gets voted out I'm sure playboy (is it still around) would pay her a pretty penny for a centerfold.
She is pretty well liked in the Bronx, I don't think her approval rating has ever been less than 50-55% if I am remembering correctly. She'll win reelection pretty easily I think.

I haven't given you any word to take. I'm just giving an opinion and for what it is worth, I think Trump is a liar. I do not believe that he is being administered hydroxychloroquine as a preventive step against contracting the coronavirus... nor should he. That would be taking an unnecessary risk, with the president's health.

You know as well as I do that there is a doctor inside the WH who either prescribed or arranged for the hydroxychloroquine.

Not.

Trump's lying.

There is no way in hell that the President of the United States is being used as a subject in a clinical trial study to test a drug for it's effectiveness as a preventive measure. No. It's not happening. Trump is a liar.

You're right he's not in a clinical trial study. His doctor thinks there is some benefit to it or at the very least little to no risk in trying it so he prescribed it.

OK, let's just say for the moment, he's lying about taking it.

What are the reasons for him to lie about taking it? What's to be gained?

The same reason Trump is usually lying. It's to benefit himself politically - or at least, that is what he thinks. He has been advocating for the usage of Hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the Coronavirus and he wants to sell a political victory to the American people over his response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

And be honest, that is the only reason you care about this drug. You see it as a "win" for Trump.

Refund on what policies? Auto I assume?
Insurance policies, yes. Auto, Work Comp, Med Mal, General Liability, and the all encompassing “any other line of coverage where the measures of risk have become substantially overstated as a result of the pandemic”.

Who says I care about the drug? I'm amused by your reaction to him saying he's taking it, highly amused.
