Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Who would you trust more with your life regarding the virus... Dr. Fauci or Trump?

And the economy... stuff is just stuff. It comes and goes. When you're dead, not so much.

I've got no objections to reopening things slowly and in a methodical way.
I’m in Georgia. Things are opening slowly.

Goalposts already moving, by the experts, on this as the newest announcement is that CV-19 can’t survive in a properly maintained pool.

More goalpost moving will be interesting to watch if the protests and riots don’t dramatically spike the number of covid cases in the next few weeks. If it spikes, well there’s our second wave out of way early.

Preaching to the choir. It’s people like MontyPython who think 20 people max in a restaurant with a capacity of 200 is opening too fast.
and these idiots in media cant figure out why layoffs are happening still -- gee does a business need to recall the full staff just for a limit of 20 people ?

A ton of people are going to lose their jobs and thus their homes. Most of those who lost their jobs were low income. Many will end up evicted. Many will struggle to feed themselves. Shelter and food is not just “stuff.”

Public Health Experts Have Undermined Their Own Case for the COVID-19 Lockdowns

"But when it comes to the protests against police brutality, many medical experts think there should be an exemption to the COVID-19 lockdown logic.

More than a thousand public health experts signed an open letter specifically stating that "we do not condemn these gatherings as risky for COVID-19 transmission. We support them as vital to the national public health and to the threatened health specifically of Black people in the United States.""
