Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

It's tough being a liberal. Liberals worry all day long about something. They worried about oil shortages in the late 20th century. In this century they're worried about global warming getting us all. Now they worry about covid. When this crisis passes they'll be on to something else.

I know liberals don't take my advice but seriously: live your life. It's short and it needs to be enjoyed. When you're on your deathbed someday you'll wonder why you wasted so much energy worrying about all this stuff. You'll wish you'd listened to those that said "it's going to be OK."

Sure, we can not worry about any of that stuff. That’s what been ignored for decades so might as well keep on ignoring it until eventually the bill comes due and there’s no time left to fix the issues. The selfish mindset of “Oh, it doesn’t affect me and won’t in my lifetime” is one that needs to die off.

Or the common cold. I was looking at the list of symptoms the other day. Honestly, I couldn't tell from that list if I was feeling symptoms, would I have a cold, flu, Rhino virus, or Covid-19.

I can tell you that what I had for about 2 weeks’ish had one very prominent symptom that I just could not shake .. Zero energy .

This is true.

The funny part is liberals say "we love science". They really dont. The science clearly says if you are healthy and young, that you will be fine. Of course there are exceptions. And this is the trouble for the liberals. They are literally scared to death that they will be one of those exceptions. That they will be one of the 0.01%.

The younger people also live in close proximity to older people here in Florida. Almost every day last week, the positive cases have set records - and as I pointed out, the tendency is that the more severe cases will continue to rise taking up valuable resources.

My point is let’s see it. Young people live close to older people everywhere.

Let’s see the total active cases and total hospitalization rate.

Funny you'd bring that up now. Not to derail this thread but did you see that this environmentalist is now apologizing for scaring the public on climate change?

Forbes has decided to unpublish an article by award-winning climate activist Michael Shellenberger, in which he apologizes "for the climate scare we created over the last 30 years."

On behalf of environmentalists everywhere, I would like to formally apologize for the climate scare we created over the last 30 years. Climate change is happening. It’s just not the end of the world. It’s not even our most serious environmental problem.

I may seem like a strange person to be saying all of this. I have been a climate activist for 20 years and an environmentalist for 30.

But as an energy expert asked by Congress to provide objective expert testimony, and invited by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to serve as Expert Reviewer of its next Assessment Report, I feel an obligation to apologize for how badly we environmentalists have misled the public.

My guess is the reasoning used will be cleaning, but for parents it will be a logistical nightmare
I'm not so sure cleaning will be a factor. There will still be kids in the school 5 days a week. They've merely split them into 2 groups. One comes 3 days one week while the other comes two days that same week

Here in Cincinnati they've announced a plan where kids in the public schools will be in person for 3 days one week and 2 days the next. Pretty screwed up if you ask me:

Cincy school board votes to bring students back 2-3 days a week

How would you like to be a working parent and try to juggle that?
same here but the vote has been delayed due to upset parents. What is the difference in going to school 5 days a week or schoold 2 days a week and daycare 3? There is no difference, period

Daycares and preschools are also being hit by orders to reduce headcount. Not sure what parents will do if both have to work and daycares don’t have openings. Daycares also require you to pay for the days you don’t use or you will lose your spot.

Team O’Biden aka the American media wanted to collapse the economy, they had been pushing it since Nov 2016. If O’Biden wins no way will they want states and businesses shut down that would cause harm to O’Biden
YOu must be miserable living in that tiny, low info bubble of yours. No wonder you hate this country
