Yes, with CTE the players also had a choice to "just not play" and not risk head injuries. The NFL is still facing CTE lawsuits anyway. I'm saying I could see the same thing happening here.
They are if they are getting a free education. If they play fine, if they don’t I’m fine as well. If you do t want to play that’s cool, but pay for your education. That’s why you got the scholarship, to play..They're not obligated to do a damn thing including risking their lives to satiate your childish desires to "have to have me sum footballs" at any cost.
We should be worrying about World Hunger if we were Actually Sincere about Death! More than 6.5 million people have died due to hunger this year so far..... yet no mandates Demanding everyone donate 3 cans of food has been implemented! Wake up peopleThe Corona Virus has been around for Ages..... its merely being Exploited this year ... . DANG it
The US has conducted more overall tests as a sum total but not as a percentage of the overall population. They aren’t even in the top 25
Coronavirus Update (Live): 17,901,532 Cases and 685,780 Deaths from COVID-19 Virus Pandemic - Worldometer
It actually is. Cases dropped approximately 10% week over last, yesterday.
Given we dont really see reinfections, it has no choice.
More test will result in more positives regardless of percentage. Anyone that wants a test can be tested. That’s pretty good. If you haven’t been then it’s on you.The US has conducted more overall tests as a sum total but not as a percentage of the overall population. They aren’t even in the top 25

Your ignorance is breathtaking. I personally know of 3 people under the age of 40 that have died from covid. Several more that almost did and spent a week or more in the hospital. Nevermind all the other more at risk people that asymptomatic carriers will kill. Family and friends all.If it spreads, which we agree it will, then in a few weeks it will have less people for which to spread to.
Reports have come out for weeks now of players infected. And you know what all those cases amounted to? Nothing. Why? Because this thing is nothing to healthy young individuals.
And that one leader that lies to us pretty much every day"Do as you're told because the government says so" doesn't sit as well with some as it does with others. And thank God for that. Because when everyone is as obedient as some of us seem to be then that's the end of the USA as we know it. There are a lot of facts and good reasons why we should be suspicious of leaders who have repeatedly lied to us in the past. They cite "experts" to give their claims validity, but not all experts agree. Even the ones they like have given contradictory information and some of their predictions have proven to be inaccurate. Simply dismissing questions as "part of the problem" is as un-American as you can get. Every tyrannical government that ever came to power started off that way.
Yeah and covid is gonna make that a lot worse as well.We should be worrying about World Hunger if we were Actually Sincere about Death! More than 6.5 million people have died due to hunger this year so far..... yet no mandates Demanding everyone donate 3 cans of food has been implemented! Wake up people
Yeah, I mean Europe is much closer to being back to normal than we are, but at least we’re not obedient like them amirite?
While this is true, if they aren't playing football because they don't want to while attending school on a football scholarship then why are the school and alumni funding them to sit out? If any of us decide we're not going to go to work because we don't want to we get fired. It's a pretty simple concept that will get irrationally complicated because of politics and the amount of money involved. They're not obligated to do a damn thing including risking their lives to satiate your childish desires to "have to have me sum footballs" at any cost.
Hopefully by September 26 we will have herd immunity.
For herd immunity to kick in the experts (if there really is such a thing) say that 20% of the population must be exposed to the virus.
20% of the US population is roughly 65MM people, and there are currently right at 4.5MM cases in the US. However, antibody tests are suggesting that the number that have been exposed is 13X that amount. That puts the number exposed at roughly 58.5MM.
I have literally hundreds of family, friends, associates and co-workers that I speak to regularly and I still don't know anyone who has had the virus. And I have yet to have even one of them tell me that they know anyone who has it. So where I live it's never been anything but pretty normal -- except for the restrictions.
