In response to density duscussion...sorry multitasking

Sorry if already corrected, but this is just not true- outside of Stockholm Sweden is very rural...
Denmark 5,771,672 133.9
Finland 5,622,534 16.6
Iceland 340,028 3.3
Norway 5,501,167 17.0
Sweden 10,129,869 22.5
As you see Norway and Finland have a comparable density and Denmark is 6-7x more dense..
Moreover looking at population density alone is misleading: Population Density Doesn't Solve the Puzzle of COVID-19 Spread | Ryan McMaken

Look at Albany, GA as an example in U.S.

Shouldn't you say 'alleged' Covid outbreak? I don't believe any of it. Just a liberal attempt to create havoc upon the economy and against brother Trump. Have you seen the fact one stands a greater chance of being struck by lightening than to catch it? Oh, my goodness!! Somebody at work has the sniffles. I better run home and barricade myself inside! Oh, I can't go to work! Oh, they better shut the workplace down! Oh, this will be as bad as the Swine Flu back in the 70's! Oh, wait a minute, that was a farce, too.
Trump says it'll get worse before it gets better and masks are Patriotic

Lol. How do you put your mask on? And I’m guessing you throw it away after every use and grab another one that isn’t contaminated with you’re hazardous “spittle”.

Again, you are describing only thinking of yourself, which was the original thing you responded to. You have proven your point.

I guess the concept of having multiple masks and the idea of disinfecting would seem like crazy futuristic science or something, but I thought I should mention it.

And with teaching remotely, I doubt it will be that hard to combine 4th grade classes for a day or two. Virtual learning should scare the crap out of teachers. If it proves to be even close to as effective as in class then a whole lot of teacher jobs go bye bye
Eventually why even have teachers? Just have lecture sessions and then maybe online Q&A for students that need help. Colleges, primary schools, and businesses of all types are going forever changed as a result of our reaction to this virus.

I’m sure you rotate and/or sterilize every mask after every use. 🙄

Well, he does have something to do with people believing the initial hospital PPE shortages were "fake news". Didn't someone get fired because they went against his narrative?

He also said that the federal stockpile shortage was Obama's fault for not resupplying it. Although I guess he didn't want to explain why he didn't remedy that in his first 3 years.
Problem is that it’s not the fed’s role to take care of PPE. Even the “stockpile” is simply a band aid for a larger issue. My hospital has great leadership and we had more PPE in April than the entire hospital systems in Atlanta or Charlotte. Leadership goes a long way and not everything flows up to Trump.

Now I agree with you that Trump can be petty and blaming Obama is just as dumb as blaming him

Democrats are politicizing COVID but it is a real crisis. I have not looked at the stats for lightning but I know your comparison to lightning is BS and childish. 154k dead and counting.

Yeah, and you wear masks, but come on here to talk smack about the whole idea.

I know most people won't say thanks, but I will.. "Thank You, keep up the good work"

Yep, has nothing to do with riots and protests. Nothing whatsoever.

Not according to the nations experts. When Jordan asked Fauci about it you’d thought Jordan asked him if he wanted to buy pictures of his wife naked.

I’m talking about PPE supplies... try to keep up... single use gowns and masks are having to be reused. It’s not just one hospital. Are you refuting anything I just posted?
Not for hospitals who planned accordingly. Our hospital serviceS 55 counties in four states and have tons of PPE. But then again they budget well and plan well in advance. They have over 1 million PPE in reserve stock

Congrats on having supplies! But you do recognize that others do not have adequate supplies? You just said TN is doing fine and bragged about having more supplies than entire hospital systems in harder hit areas such as ATL. Taking a step back, and looking from a national level, you don’t see problems in this fragmented system? Or do you only care about your own hospital which apparently has been fortunate to have good connections and contracts in supply chains? You say lack of ppe in certain areas is bc of weak hospital leadership, I say it is more a product of lack of coordination, logical distribution, and planning on a national level. These are not ordinary times

It’s going to be kind of funny when the teachers saying “this job is a death sentence” find out they’ve been replaced by Google Meetings.

How can a president outline and help implement a national plan? During a national crisis? Lol,is that a real question? Do you think people asked FDR or Lincoln similar questions?

A declared war gives the POTUS all kinds of power where a pandemic does not so terrible comparison.

If you want to expound on what powers you think a POTUS has during a pandemic please do so.

Yup, the President of the country really doesn't have any power during a national emergency, great point. He had the power to limit travel from China, which was the greatest thing anyone's ever done, but when it comes to anything negative, of course there was nothing he could do.

Please let us know what powers he has.

And what would your suggestion be of what “should have been done”? States have different problems but just because places like California and NY have archaic hospitals and laws and leadership doesn’t mean the feds could do anything to “help” them

Lol.

Lol, throw your hands up and say there is nothing that can be done? Yeah sounds about right! Great call! It’s working so well! Signing the defense production act sooner and coordinating and prioritizing distribution of supply to areas that need it most based on real time numbers would be a place to start.
