I just don't get it either. I would not even step in that pool pre COVID. No telling what brews up.

It is China. Could be an orchestrated photo event. Could have easily gathered a bunch of people that already tested positive months ago.

Plus they are months ahead of us on this path. I dont see a problem with mass gatherings in the US 3 months from now. Doesnt mean they will be allowed, but I wouldnt have a problem with them being held.

I honestly believe China released this on purpose to see what the world's response would be. They kill off a bunch of their people in the process to help a tiny bit with food shortages and not being able to feed everyone, while the whole time they've already got a cure/vaccine because they've been working on this thing for a long time. Now that they know how the world responds to a global outbreak, they'll develop something that works more to their advantage and release it in due time.
