What was the name of the psychology study where they had an "expert" convince the participants to shock someone? It was one of the quiet Stanford type studies where they did sick stuff. I was thinking it was white coat syndrome, but that's hypertension related.
Premise was the general public will do what they are told if told by an expert. Even if they believe they are doing harm or not achieving the desired results, all because an expert told them.
Seems like a good number of pur nation are suffering from this.
