Even if novel coronavirus infection imparted immunity, that immunity could be short-lived and last only a few weeks or months. I don’t agree. People that contracted the disease were typically not mask wearers or social distances.

Can someone on here explain how my 73 year old dad got Covid but my 71 year old mom who sleeps in the same bed with him didn't?

Same thing happened to my neighbors and the spouse never got it.

I really am curious here since it's supposedly so easy to get.

My daughter and wife got it but me and my son did not as far as I can tell.

Your reply has nothing to do with my post which you included. You seem to think that I stated that death projections were garbage or something similar. This virus is killing a lot of people No question about that.

Indeed I did. The results are inconclusive. Which is why I put the disclaimer on my post. But if you look at the CDC link it has a table about mask wearing and those infected. It shouldn't be that surprising that that many people who wear masks test positive. It's isn't bc of the mask necessarily.
