You say worst.. but think about it. What if one or more lab's vaccine suddenly became unusable for any number of reasons, or the facilities had an explosion etc..

Eggs in one basket and whatnot. You don't have do agree. But "nah, we'll pass" should never had been his arbitrary decision to begin with.

But eggs aren't in one basket. By March we will probably have 6 companies that produce one. The one they have is extremely difficult to spread widely. I would prefer them to invest more on the Moderna one. Much more stable. The Pfizer one holds more promise form a tech advancement stand point.

I'm not sure the reason wasn't just something petty, knowing Trump.

But time may tell if it was a good or bad move, I guess.

Yeah I've read a little about the science, truly revolutionary, apparently.

This will be still another of his statements that he'll back off on. I'm not an infectious disease doctor but here's my guess:

--exploding numbers right now will be beneficial in our fight against C19 next yr

--many people will be vaccinated in the next 6 mos

--in 2020 we had cratering numbers as we entered summer and that was with no vaccinations and no herd immunity

--by June (at the latest) we'll see "cratering" numbers and at that point the people will not stand for this nonsense

--politicians won't survive politically (except in very liberal areas) if they continue mask restrictions

--Fauci will backtrack and claim that he's "pleasantly surprised"

Yep. He was being destroyed just like his past presidential bids and then all of a sudden he comes out of nowhere. It was just like the election doing a 180 in the middle of the night when everyone went to bed.
