Cuomo, and I believe 5 other Dem Governors, really showed that intelligence and compassion by sending infected people into nursing homes. Almost 40% of all Corona deaths came from nursing homes. I wish I had a Governor who cared for me like Cuomo does his people.

At the end of the day and after 85,000+ posts in this thread, this has always been the case. We all can argue all we want about the efficacy of shutdowns and mask mandates and infringement on civil liberties, etc...but if you are under 50 and healthy, which is the majority of this country, then this virus is a non-issue.

This has nothing to do with "wanting to kill grandma". This virus is going to do what it is going to do. We can't stop it, and we are far past the point where we need to "flatten the curve". This is what it is. If you are in the high risk group, it is up to you to mitigate your risk. There is nothing everyone else can do that will stop this virus. Again, it is going to move forward no matter what we do. It will run through the population and then we will move on.

The fear porn needs to stop and we need to report on this like adults and a mature, informed public.
