Hey @titansvolsfaninga, What do you think about PE Biden being maskless so much lately ?
Hey @titansvolsfaninga, What do you think about PE Biden being maskless so much lately ?
I was watching earlier and they show him walking to his ride(no mask), stopping to talk to people(no mask) coughing into his fist while at the podium( elbow Mr. P), and I am yet to hear the mask loving media take him to task. Surely our mask sycophants here will have something to say.It would not surprise me is Cameltoe is hiding his masks.
A real president would have taken every opprotunity to lead by example on this very important subject matter. Clearly Biden doesnt take Covid seriously. This all would have been over if he had just taken things as seriously as they are.I was watching earlier and they show him walking to his ride(no mask), stopping to talk to people(no mask) coughing into his fist while at the podium( elbow Mr. P), and I am yet to hear the mask loving media take him to task. The most recent NIH report states that immunity lasts at least six months after natural infection, because that's how long the study has been following healthcare workers. There is some corollary data from other coronaviruses that suggests immunity through T cell memory could actually persist for years. If that’s the case, then wouldn’t actually having the virus do the same thing? So not a 6 month immunity but much longer?

I was talking with my ex today. She's a pediatrician too. We were discussing the vaccine. I asked her if she would take it. She said of course. I asked if she was worried about what the long term side effects could be. She said yes but she's also unsure what the long term impact on her heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver would be of if she contracted it. I hadn't considered that. Thoughts?
Tough question. Long-term, serious effects are extremely rare from mild viral infections, which is the usual course of CV19 in younger/healthy people. I don't know why we would expect this particular coronavirus to cause significantly-worse problems later in life than other viruses do.@kiddiedoc

On the flip side, most vaccines prove to be quite safe. I am most concerned with the unknowns surrounding the new mRNA technology. Additionally, it sounds like the short-term effects are a little worse than initially advertised: hospital employees are being advised to schedule their vaccination at the end of a shift that is followed by at least one or two off days, so they don't have to miss work. I also read two separate reports of several cases of Bell's palsy in vaccine recipients today.
