Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

We can debate the merits of mask wearing but can anyone explain the merit of making coaches like Nick Saban and our own Rick Barnes wear a mask on the sideline? These guys recently had C19. The science tells us that they have antibodies so that they are immune and can't spread it. Why should they be forced to wear a mask? I won't even get into the part about how they all seem to take it down when they need to "coach" which is their job afterall.

You see it with the vaccine. Nothing is changing there. You still have to wear masks, lock down, etc. They arent going to let those who earned natural immunity be any different.

I think it's high time someone screamed back at "Karen" and explained some facts of life. The mask wearing Karens of this world need to realize that their case is weakened when their mandates are not supported by science and make no sense.

We are doing work for a pulmonologist and he told us he has two gentleman that have double pneumonia right now and it is from wearing mask for two long. He said to avoid wearing them if you can and never wear the same one for longer than a day.

And, maybe have Karen actually watch games to see their grimy hands all over the masks. Same with the refs. If influenza does start to spread in the US, you better believe that having everyone's hands all over their faces all the time is going to make it much worse.

It is a waste of breath arguing with those people. I just ignore them and that actually seems to make them more upset.

Says it is voluntary. So no big deal.
Or just hand them this.........

Nothing political about this at all. Putting non voting standards on representation.

I would go thru the effort of finding a medical doctor that would give me a note saying not to wear a mask and shove it in their face.

Well there would only be one. Luckily he hangs out right here

@kiddiedoc

I was talking with my ex today. She's a pediatrician too. We were discussing the vaccine. I asked her if she would take it. She said of course. I asked if she was worried about what the long term side effects could be. She said yes but she's also unsure what the long term impact on her heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver would be of if she contracted it. I hadn't considered that. Thoughts?

Supposedly reports of all those plus ongoing neurological problems, too

uh huh. I've had the 'rona for 5 days. Not anywhere near death. Can't smell anything though. But I get your panic. Things you don't understand tend to cause panic among the soy.
I’m on day 5 or 6 and my sense of smell vanished today. I’m really fatigued with some minor aches, so hopefully this is as bad as it gets for me. I will say I’ve definitely felt more sick than this before, but this is a weird virus. Each day I have slightly different symptoms that don’t always carry into the next day.

Kinda the same for me but I had some weird feeling in my chest but not any trouble breathing. Minor aches and fatigue on the back end. On a positive note my taste and smell started coming back after only about 5-6 days but I don’t think it’s quite back to 100% 6 weeks later but it’s getting close.

Did yall have any high temp?

I nor the girlfriend ever ran a fever. Kids showed zero symptoms. Others in our contact tracing group may have but nobody ever fell severely ill. I had a friend who contracted early on, maybe in March or April, who had it a little rougher with sporadic fever and he lost over 15lbs. He’s fine now though.

My temperature has been consistently low. I have been sneezing all day today though. That's something new. All the muscle aches are gone though. When I had them, a couple aspirin mitigated it. Sounds like davethevol and I both got it last Thursday....

What have you been putting in your back end?

Consider yourself lucky, and be grateful. My 44-year-old otherwise healthy sister is in a hospital in Tennessee tonight. She was diagnosed with COVID last Friday. Today, she has pneumonia in both lungs. Her husband and two teenagers are also sick but not as sick as she is. We’re all terrified for her. Be grateful your symptoms are minor. Not everyone else is as fortunate.
