Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I don't get it. All he has to do is tell his patients. Easy peasy. It's like he knows there may be some pushback.
Should he have told them that stuff before? Are doctors expected to divulge that stuff ever?

STDs, other blood born diseases? Tell them about other patients they've seen?

Hes a doctor, hes been exposed to countless numbers of Covid positive at his job. What's a few more outside the job place?

I would like to see similar tracing from a state that isn't restricted. This data is compiled during when NY was mandating restrictions.

NY state (not city) has had indoor dining at 50% since June. Most schools in the state have been open for “hybrid” learning since September.

I wonder if/how the data differs with less restrictive states.

I’ve often wondered that as well. Especially with a state like Florida with a similar population and demographic. The only real separating variable is climate. But would love to see those statistics as well.

I’ve had it for me just a runny nose and a sore throat with a mild cough for about 5 days. Truthfully I’ve had worse colds I feel bad for all the people who have had much worse versions of it or have died.

Seriously all this arguing about a doctor who MIGHT have been exposed in his free time. Meanwhile at his work place he has admitted to treating Covid pts, so we know he HAS been exposed there.

I would say the risks are infinitely higher at work. I think @Roustabout has his priorities backwards. Doc should be warning normies he is a doctor exposed at work. Probably be treated like a rock star for dealing with this.

I mentioned that as well

The case could be made that there's a violation of the Hippocratic Oath at play.

The most fair and reasonable thing to do would be for him to be open with his patients about his beliefs and activities and let them choose. I bet most of his patients would stay, but those with concerns may choose to go elsewhere.

My doctors here have been transparent with their behavior because they understand they have to have the trust of their patients. Violations of the sacred oath without consent of the patient can result in a less effective relationship.
Oh please 😂 i wish you actually worked at a Level 1 trauma center or large hospital system where physicians would have a field day with your beliefs and worries about “discriminatory language” and “violations of the Hippocrates oath”

Y’all must be on that platinum healthcare to see the doctor for more than 15 minutes. When we take our kids the pediatrician is in and out like a bandit.

Then why are you worked up about this?
Maybe you haven’t seen, but cities are having to build make shift morgues. Infections are at all time high and hospitals are pushed to the brink. All the while we are still dealing with the anti-masker, idiot Trumpers and virus deniers.

I appreciate his work, but I also spent an hour with the nurse who is over pulmonary unit at UT. This isn’t a ****ing joke or a hoax. I’ve made sacrifices to keep my family safe. I’ll bet you money he’s one who will refuse the vaccine as well.

I think CA is proof mask mandates and shuttering businesses doesn't work.
