Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

It’s almost as if there is a Qanon for Covid Karens. They go there, read unsourced articles and Facebook posts from “experts” then come here all hysterical and spouting chicken little-type nonsense and no one can convince them otherwise.
The acceptance of conspiracy theories by both sides has reached a point of total idiocy.

@kiddiedoc 2 of the linked articles made reference to Knox county hospitals. The other 2 were about Nashville and published early to mid December. None of the links advanced the narrative of morgues overrun with corpses (as in San Diego). So, when you see immunocompromised patients who are vulnerable to C19 in your clinic, please be cautious.

Isn't Roust hiding in his basement?

Is there any difference between immunity gotten the old fashion way, getting it, versus the vaccine? Would one last longer or be better than the other?
You could have clicked the link and read this below the article's title:

"A new study shows immune cells primed to fight the coronavirus should persist for a long time after someone is vaccinated or recovers from infection."

The case could be made that there's a violation of the Hippocratic Oath at play.

The most fair and reasonable thing to do would be for him to be open with his patients about his beliefs and activities and let them choose. I bet most of his patients would stay, but those with concerns may choose to go elsewhere.

My doctors here have been transparent with their behavior because they understand they have to have the trust of their patients. Violations of the sacred oath without consent of the patient can result in a less effective relationship.
Wow

Natural infection has the potential advantage of forming antibodies and memory protection to more than just the spike protein mimicked by the mRNA vaccine. It's not known how they will compare long-term, but natural immunity should be as good or better.

They’re never going to stop.

Typical SI article: full of words but very little is said. Yeah, there were some hassles but we all are dealing with hassles thanks to C19. I'd argue that some of their hassles were self inflicted and they really didn't need a lot of rules that they placed on themselves. The article didn't even get into that. Here's a stat I'd like to know: what percentage of the athletes that tested positive "got sick." How many needed serious care like hospitalization? Was it really good for the game to sit its best player for 2-3 games?

This virus was used to get what they wanted. That people had to be punished along the way was of no concern to them.

And the mention of hydroxy... was political. Tells me all I need to know and adds fuel to this whole shitshow. Lives destroyed for this evil. Yes...Evil.
