The thing that makes me saddest is it doesn't matter how many of these examples of obvious media insanity are shared, there will continually be those that gobble this feces up daily and rush to the defense of the media at the drop of a hat.
Journalist couldnโt do real journalism on this basically because Trump suggested that the virus originated in Wuhan, China. Then you had Facebook and Twitter โfact checkingโ / censoring such claims. All because they were too vested in being anti-Trump versus pro truth.
The takeaway here should be the media is now a danger to society and cannot be trusted. Always be wary of what a journalist tells you is true. They can no longer be trusted to deliver facts instead of propaganda.
COVID-19 Impacts on solid Waste Industry:
The governmental overreaction in issuing unconstitutional stay at home orders and business closures resulted in clients deferring services which in turn affected the environment. Furthermore the federal and state governments outlandish fear mongering and uncontrolled wasteful spending on stimulus has made finding employees extremely difficult. The positive from this is that several of our competitors took your orders seriously and scaled back operations which provided us an opportunity to fill the void and gain business in several sectors. This business was captured from NJ native companies.
- Please provide a brief description on how COVID-19 affected your solid waste business?
Half of the adult population in the U.S. is fully vaccinated, according to data published Tuesday by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And for those people, the upcoming Memorial Day weekend โ an event identified as a major source of spread last year
Hospitalization numbers look worse for COVID-19. But those numbers are inflated as a result of the CDC's reporting rules. The CDC requires every child admitted to a hospital to be tested for the coronavirus.
Dr. Roshni Mathew, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at the Stanford University School of Medicine, says experience at her hospital found that 45% of the time, a child who tested positive for the coronavirus was not actually sick with COVID-19. The findings have been published online in the journal Hospital Pediatrics.
In those cases, hospitalization was due to "a completely unrelated diagnosis, like appendicitis or femur fracture or something else," she says.
If half the adults are now "inoculated" then how can this statement be true:
Seems to me their risk just got cut in half. What am I missing?
Correct. When you take into consideration the sizeable fraction of the country that has already recovered from natural infection, our immunity rate is now likely in the neighborhood of 75-85%. This threshold significantly decreases the rate of transmission and the chance of exposure. That quoted comment from the "article" above has no scientific basis, whatsoever.you aren't missing anything - in addition to the massive increase in vaccinations since then; we've also increased my millions the number of people who've been infected and have antibodies.
