Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19): Interim Operational Considerations for Implementing the Shielding Approach to Prevent COVID-19 Infections in Humanitarian Settings

What is the Shielding Approach?

The shielding approach aims to reduce the number of severe COVID-19 cases by limiting contact between individuals at higher risk of developing severe disease (“high-risk”) and the general population (“low-risk”). High-risk individuals would be temporarily relocated to safe or “green zones” established at the household, neighborhood, camp/sector or community level depending on the context and setting.1,2 They would have minimal contact with family members and other low-risk residents.

Current evidence indicates that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19.3 In most humanitarian settings, older population groups make up a small percentage of the total population.4,5 For this reason, the shielding approach suggests physically separating high-risk individuals from the general population to prioritize the use of the limited available resources and avoid implementing long-term containment measures among the general population.

In theory, shielding may serve its objective to protect high-risk populations from disease and death. However, implementation of the approach necessitates strict adherence1,6,7, to protocol. Inadvertent introduction of the virus into a green zone may result in rapid transmission among the most vulnerable populations the approach is trying to protect.

First you've seen of this? Pretty scary stuff... They even use "the word:"
Level
Camp/Sector Level:

A group of shelters such as schools, community buildings within a camp/sector (max 50 high-risk individuals per single green zone) where high-risk individuals are physically isolated together.
Movement/ Interactions
One entry point is used for exchange of food, supplies, etc. A meeting area is used for residents and visitors to interact while practicing physical distancing (2 meters). No movement into or outside the green zone.

I hear a lot of talking. I'm from Missouri at this point. It will be interesting to see how the military responds to the latest mandate.
I think the tide has changed and too many people have bought into the fake narratives. I absolutely would not trust the military to make the right decision at this point.

Border Patrol union official Warns COVID-POSITIVE Migrants Being Released Into US ‘day in, day out’

A top Border Patrol union official is warning that agents are having to release COVID-positive migrants into the U.S. "day in, day out" -- amid the ongoing crisis at the border, which also has Border Patrol agents worried about their own health.

"Not everyone we encounter we test, only those that exhibit some type of symptoms and not everybody has symptoms that has it," Chris Cabrera, a vice president of the National Border Patrol Council, said Saturday on "Fox News Live."

"And we’re releasing people out of the door day in and day out with actual positive tests for COVID and more keep popping up," he said.

Cabrera also warned that his sector alone has seen 20,000 apprehension of migrants at the border, with 2-3,000 every day just in the area -- and that doesn’t take into consideration those who are evading overwhelmed Border Patrol agents.

Please stop using facts and logic, the lefties cant handle that.
I keep hearing about COVID deaths but nobody still wants to acknowledge that the average age of death is like 80 years old and 8 of 10 people that do die have known comorbidities, a lot of which are linked to obesity and obesity-related illness. The death rate even for the worst off with comorbidities like fatness and age is 6% or so, and only 200 million of 7.9 billion people on earth have had it, 4.27 million of which have died.

By comparison a third of the world population had the Spanish Flu and its death rate was much higher.
