What are you talking about? I am criticizing Joe for not doing anything since he took office, with respect to Covid. Are you saying he has?

Oh, I know vaccines didn't cause the mutation. Mutations occur naturally. I just think that the current vaccine technology may be easier to elude, and thus "select" for a mutant strain.

Obviously, I could be wrong.

The states that are having the worst outbreaks are actively hindering and undermining the Fed’s advice and vaccination efforts. What do you expect him to do? If he took more drastic action, you would be crying about gov overreach, so the argument that “Biden hasn’t done anything!!”” Flies in the face of the bs that’s spewed about personal freedom on here. It’s disingenuous at best. I’d say his vaccine rollout has been a success seeing as anyone in the US can get it for free from their local county health dept or any large drugstore or grocery chain. He’s been responsive to the governors that actually request gov assistance. I mean, I guess he could be rage tweeting about how ungrateful governors are for his wonderful help.

I have covid now I started feeling sick Thursday afternoon. Had chills, a headache, sore throat all that including muscle weakness. Yet I wasn’t running a temperature. Now all I really have is the sore throat when I swallow it feels like I’m swallowing rocks it’s terrible.

Actually, crunching the numbers, California is currently sitting at 1.6% CFR and Florida is lower at 1.4%. That's quite surprising, unless Florida is just doing a better job testing.

Covid has plenty of willing hosts here without the help of immigrants. Is that good policy? No. I don’t think it is. But if all detainees at the border go through forced vaccination would that make you feel better? People are going to come regardless. But don’t act like they’re the only cause of new infections. We know that to not be the case. I’ve heard a million different conspiracies from patients about why they aren’t getting vaccinated and why they shouldn’t have to take any precautions because “my freedom”. And almost all of them were born right here in the USA. I don’t care who they voted for. They enthusiastically volunteer that information as a defense against their lack of awareness and ability to think beyond “my freedom.” But if there’s an immigrant to blame, by God, then that must be the cause!

Illegal entry should come at a cost and a free vaccination is a small price to pay. As for other people refusing the vaccine, that’s on them. But you can’t say that you’re concerned about the unvaccinated spreading Covid if you’re going to ignore what’s going on at the border.

Who’s ignoring it? I said it was bad policy. But people refusing the vaccine are more likely to go out with symptoms and infect others. So it’s not just on them.

Florida has a higher percentage vaccinated than WI, MI, and MN plus all other southern states...and a lower death per capita than 26 states but yeah DeSantis evil gets you through the day 20210808_095003.jpg
