So I think the good doctor suffers on at least one key point. The Delta and Lambda variants which we are seeing now came from India and Latin America respectively. I don’t believe either region has a high percentage of vaccination does it?

He's not the world's top virologist. I have no idea where that claim could have come from. Nobel laureate for his part in identifying HIV, yes.

I’m not either. It was a question on the vaccination rate in those two areas not a full throated rebuttal. I do believe those are the areas where those two strains originated though.

That’s debatable I’ll leave it at that. I don’t recall hearing about variants until fairly recently. However, I’ll take your word for it.

I don’t think there’s any debate about vaccines working in the near term. My issue is long term effects and continual need for booster shots. Just saw a news headline that states they are recommending a 3rd booster shot now? Where’s it going to end?

It or something else undeniably has to be making a difference in the transmissibility of it. There are way too many examples of entire households contracting it from one person and then spouses never separating from each other and the non-infected never getting infected. Too many people haven’t stopped life in the slightest and have been “spared”.

Wait, what does that link have to do with this particular treatment? He was talking about elective surgeries.

He had no symptoms but was admitted and given the monoclonal antibody treatment which is usually reserved for immunocompromised and people at serious risk. Since he's been an opponent of mask mandates you'd expect him to demonstrate there's noting to fear about getting covid.
