I love how this is all about compliance.https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/25/del...-200-fees-if-they-dont-get-covid-vaccine.html
I was ridiculed for predicting that unvaccinated people would face financial consequences in terms of their insurance. Well, here you go. It begins
My high school classmate has been on a vent since last week. His lungs and kidneys were just about shot. The hospital let his wife in to basically say her goodbyes. But, thank God, his numbers have actually ticked back up over the past few days. He's not out of the woods by any means, but there's hope.
But, just after seeing that update I got the news that my coworker passed away this morning. I knew she was sick with it, but she felt well enough to work from home last week. I had a long call with her on Wednesday and, while she sounded like crap, she said she was doing okay. I had no idea that she was even hospitalized over the weekend. Now she's gone.
I'm f***ing over this.
How do you know it's the delta version?I tested positive for C19 yesterday. I’m fully vaccinated but due for a booster - as a health care worker, my second dose was in early January.
Thus far, my symptoms are mild - a little drainage and some minor fatigue. Because I’m asthmatic and overweight, I qualified for monoclonal antibody therapy. My infusion was this morning.
I’m resting, taking care of myself and hoping the vaccine and monoclonal antibody therapy help me fight off this nasty bug.
I would encourage you to get vaccinated if you haven’t. I literally have been nowhere but my home and my office. My husband works from home. But I somehow picked up Delta. It’s just that contagious. Stay safe and healthy, fellow Vols.
