I have never claimed Trump said inject bleach. I have watched you literally lie just a few posts ago. So there's that. And I will insult you if you are literally taking those statements as 100% true. This is the same thing the media did with Trump statements where he was obviously speaking in the abstract or joking. There's nuance to everything. I'm sure Biden was either speaking in general terms trying to convince enough people to get vaccinated or saying what he believed to be true at the time.

I’ll agree with you, the media sucks. They were on Trump from day one 24/7 and never gave him a chance. I thought it was disgusting and ugly throughout his term. I don’t blame people for being bitter. The media has lost a lot of credibility because of it. I wish there was at least one station that just reported the news and wasn’t slanted one way or another.

As a country we are getting misinformation from every source possible as to divide us...and unfortunately it is working....I exaggerated 100% I apologize for the misrepresentation of that info..

Looking at this week’s Tennessee Department of Health numbers the vaccines continue to protect against hospitalizations. With 3159 hospitalized patients as of 8/25 in TN and 416 total hospitalized breakthrough infections reported since vaccines start looking at about an 85% vaccine efficacy at preventing hospitalization when just looking at hospitalization numbers in the past week. Compared to last week this may have slipped from about 85-90%.

Hopefully we will start to see the extra benefit of the boosters in the high risk population in the upcoming few weeks. Looks like TN is going to break the previous hospitalization numbers from last winter this week unfortunately.

Why do we have so many people hospitalized when the antibody treatment appears to work wonders? Why in the hell isn’t it given to every patient bad enough to be hospitalized while they’re in the ER?

Don’t know for sure but the antibody treatment is approved for patients who don’t require hospitalization (mild or moderate symptoms) or as a prophylactic. A lot of patients probably present to the ER for the first time with severe symptoms needing to be hospitalized and therefore not a candidate. Also sometimes people are tested with a non-rapid covid test and sent home while awaiting test results. By the time they get a positive test results and are set up for antibody treatment they may have progressed to requiring hospitalization.

I don’t know what the prerequisites are but the one person I know that had it is a severe asthmatic that was taken to the hospital and in 2 days she sounds almost normal. WTF aren’t we giving this to everyone when they show up at the hospital bad enough to be hospitalized?

The article is paywalled so I can't give a direct response to it, but I would say that it has to do with the growing number of people who are heading to their local Co-op or feed store and buying sheep dip and horse paste and self-medicating. They're starting to cause trouble with the ERs as their self determined doses are causing severe diarrhea and toxicity.
