Knox county kids are under a mask mandate due to some lawsuit. No surrounding county is under any mandate. Knox county law director has made no attempt to fight this.

I dont expect much besides opening up from COVID..... Imo that's why DeSantis and Florida is getting so much praise at the moment, trying to build goodwill for him to run.

Unfortunately, that’s too much pressure on little children. They are being used as pawns in this, and I know how badly some of them were treated when they went to school without masks back in September. People that I personally know and would generally say are incredibly good people treated these kids like prisoners. I lost a lot of respect for some people in the schools.

I know a bunch, too. We gave our kids the option, and I was happy to pick them up if they chose not to wear masks. They didn't want to stand out, so they wore them (as little as required). Those kids who did not comply were taken out of class and kept at spaced desks in the gym all day. After several days, most relented, but a few did unenroll.

The Methodists and Presbyterians have gone astray. It’s sad to see their “interpretations” of the Bible. One of the super far left groups in Knoxville (KCS Pass) has a female Presbyterian minister on their board. They’re an offshoot of SPEAK, but share the same goals and pretend they are partisan. Just vile people.

No doubt. I was listening to a Zoom recently among Presbyterian members/ministers from local churches and my wife and I were dismayed by what we heard. We have reached a point where you literally need to show your outright admiration for LGBT community.

It's only the Methodists in America. There is real movement from the overseas UMC to kick the American UMCs out, or at least create a split.

I no longer attend a Methodist church.

Same. They have destroyed the little church we used to attend (me not so regularly) I don't see how they can keep the lights on with as few people that attend now.
