Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Yes, my kids are still wearing masks with no end in sight.
I live in a neighboring county and my grandkids haven't worn a mask at all even during the spring of 20 before they closed the schools until August. It's amazing how it made no difference in infection rates if everyone was following the science.

We started the year without masks. Then a lawsuit was initiated and some POS judge made everyone wear masks.

I’m sitting in the car line right now waiting to pick up my kids. I can see the school busses. They’ve all had to put really dark tint on all of their windows because this leftist group has been taking pictures of children on the bus and in the schools not wearing masks, then submitting their pictures to Judge Ronnie Greer to get the kids and their schools in trouble. All of these people and the judge are absolute pieces of crap.

The judge leads a Sunday school class for young adults at his church. For someone to do what he’s done and to be a “teacher” of the word of God. the Bible has made it very clear he will be judged harshly.

One of my biggest disappointments is that he will not suffer anything from this.

Agree 100%. As a career scientist, my first question to any data shown to me is always “How did you arrive to this conclusion?” I’m always skeptical about how they got the data, what parts of their data they did and didn’t use, and why. Data should be used to tell the story, not manipulated to tell your story.
For fun, do a quick analysis of the results of the study published about two months ago on the effect of CV19 mRNA shots on the menstrual cycle. See if you arrive at a more important conclusion than that the shots only lengthen women's cycles by an average of one day...

My practice is in Loudon County. No masks, and our schools actually had less interruption than Knox.

I'm getting scared of the influence of "blue staters" coming in and corrupting my way of life. I've already noticed how when I walk in my neighborhood, some people won't even acknowledge me as I walk past them when I say hi.

Just met a new patient/family who recently moved to Tellico Village from California. I was trying to gently feel them out when they told me they had to get away from all the crazy people out there :)

Do I need to start getting things together for some kind of Interstate Passport? Make sure my credentials allow me back in Tennessee to visit my dad?

I know what you mean. I’ve got a couple next door from Michigan that were friendly at first because they wanted to tie into my fence post. Then they acted like we didn’t exist 90% of the time when we were outside, and they do their best to ignore neighbors that wave to them.

I had my last ounce of patience set up last week when I discovered they were going to have a gutter company put drainage pipe through my yard, and was like “do what you want on you property, but under no circumstances mess with mine.” They we’re very apologetic, but I’ve since planted some trees in my yard that will make it very difficult for them to go through my yard to access their backyard.

Honestly, kinda thinking about sticking around NY for a bit longer since it seems things are “turning around” for us normal people since all the city folk are moving south.

My kids' school system dropped their mask policies starting tomorrow. We're in the most infected county in Maryland, but you really can't tell. Hope my University follows suit this week.

I was half listening today, but it sounded like there were developments in this case and that mandate may be getting rolled back soon. Did it go to an appeals court and get slapped down or something? Only got about half the info.

Idk.

I’ve stopped keeping up, just know it is currently still in effect.
