The CDC modifies a risk formula and suddenly everything is looking much more rosy. Setting aside the suspect politics involved with this update, this should be a wake up call about how much power unelected bureaucrats can have on people’s day-to-day lives.

You can bet health commissioners across the country will be on a hair trigger going forward for the next chance to flex their power in an otherwise very boring job.
