Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Went to Walmart to get surgical mask. No Walmarts around me had them except one showing 5 boxes. Went there and couldn't find them. Asked a clerk and he found where they should be. They were out. I showed him on my phone where they were supposed to have 5 boxes. He checked his system and he said they showed 4 boxes. He went to the back and they had just received them. He said they typically don't make it to the shelves before they're bought. I bought all four.

I bet those are being bought by resellers. Probably making a killing selling these online.

Hate to break it to you, but odds are pretty high the masks you bought won’t help you at all, if you come in contact with someone who has this.

It will certainly cause some issues one would think. Depending on exactly where things are manufactured. Food items and such will be no issue though unless there is a panic here in the states.

Health care professionals know how to put the mask on correctly, aren’t likely to let down their guard due to a false sense of safety, and wash their hands constantly. But hey thanks for contributing to the mask shortage that could happen for medical professionals. But you do you.

I should clarify. I went to Grainger and they have a "national emergency" hold on them as of about a week ago. They have to have corporate review every order. No kidding. They called me after a few days and said I could pick mine up, although I have not yet. Not sure I will.
I did get some at an industrial welding place.

Hey I just looks at it as a precaution for minimal costs.

Yea it takes a lot of effort and knowledge to put one on but maybe you would struggle with it.

Are you intentionally being an ass or do you do it and not realize it? If you don't realize you should really work on that. If do you realize you can gth.

Anyway you do you and I'll do me.
