Great post. kudos. i'm hoping Dobbs or Ferguson gets to campus and wins the job outright. i can struggle with a true freshman qb if it helps us win in year 2 and 3 but thats just me.

Peterman is only a rs Frosh so that would apply to him too, just really like the two kids we brought in.

Huh?!

I'm hoping Worley or Peterman (or both) show out and win big this year. I hope our incoming freshmen get to redshirt, learn the playbook, watch the O for a couple of years, while getting playing time in blowout leads.

Then, I hope, after winning with good QB play immediately, we have a heated QB battle in a few years between two very talented QBs, and some talented redshirts coming up behind them.

Huh? Hold up. You just gave kudos and "great post" to a post (a very good one by the way) about Justin Worley, and then said you hope one of our 2 true freshmen wins the job outright and you're willing to struggle with him this year.

Did I get that right? Could you elaborate? Honest question.

I'm with Crush.

Guess I need to add "no homo".

You mean to sext the dolphins cheerleaders?

Not pooh-poohing Brett's stupidity with that lady sports journalist. But in my opinion she shouldn't have been in the locker room. Until male reporters can enter women's locker rooms to do the same interviewing thing, women shouldn't be in ours. This one way street thing is absurd. Actually, I don't think either sex should be in the opposite sex's locker rooms at all. But it's the one-sided stuff that ticks me off.

I don't see hardly any chance that one of the freshman joins during the summer and is able to win the starting job before the season starts. Ain't gunna happen.

I'd welcome a freshman QB especially if he's good right off. That means you'd have him the next 3 years, maybe 4.

I wouldn't discount a freshman making QB like some have. If you've got what it takes and you outperform the competition then you deserve the spot.

i understand what your saying, but they will be behind as far as getting snaps and learning the new playbook,it will be interesting for sure, till CBJ finds his QB

Of course. If a freshman is head and shoulders above and earns it hell yeah. I just think the likelihood is very low. Look for Worley to start the season, maybe Peterman (not exactly going out on a limb here).

It's not crazy to think that a frosh qb could come in and win some games. Hell, Bray did it. Granted, it was against piss poor teams and he only had to beat out Simms. Still, that's the best season we've had out of the last 3. We have infinitely more talent at qb now, a coach that won't tolerate incompetence/lack of effort, and a top 5 OL.

It will probably take a few games for our offense to gel, but I for one think Oregon may struggle early. I dont think we win, but i could see it being close. Losing Chip Kelly is going to hurt them worse than people think. By the time we hit the meat of the sec, I bet we are able to manufacture some points no matter who the qb is.

Dobbs needs to seriously beef up before he plays against SEC teams. He is the size of Bray coming in. Look at his videos. He can play, just needs some meat on those bones

The better example would be Clausen. He beat bammer as a frosh.
