Trump supporters were there peacefully rallying. Biden supporters were there to get violent and what’s worse is they won. I can’t imagine how these thugs would have acted if they lost. These democrats always beat people who are way outnumbered or the smallest guy or a woman. When I saw the proud boys there I didn’t see any democrats trying to fight them. Democrats are cowards

I thought the key component in the description was predicated on behavior? Having a different belief is another thing entirely than acts of destruction/violence.

Hitler dehumanized people - convincing his believers that they were "less than" them - and eventually that they should be wiped out completely. Xenophobic hate leads to destruction/violence.

It's disconcerting to see Trump's believers buy into his hate-based brand.
