he will not redshirt, he is goin to start next season
I think he may be a candidate to redshirt. There is no way in hell that he starts. If he isn't redshirted, then he will start out the season behind Coker, Hardesty, and possibly Foster.

I mean all those guys u just named didnt produce anything last year, they got their chance so y not give the freshman a chance to c what he can do, the SEC has had some successful freshmen rb's in the last few years so i say we give him a shot

he did, but UT needa a guy who can pick up tough yards maybe 3 or 4 yards per carry so that we can be deadly running or throwing the ball, and u cant honestly sit here and tell me that Coker produced that last year

Coker didn't produce anything last year? Wow... I don't even know how to respond to that. Actually, yes, I do. Let's see... 696 rushing yards, 6.4 avg, 5 TDs, 168 receiving yards, TD. I say again, he was a redshirt freshman.

Arian Foster produced more than 800 rushing yards during his freshman campaign, and was never completely healthy last season. Hardesty is a freak athlete, and has shown glimpses of what he can be.

Creer will get his chance, but there's no way he breaks that rotation during his true freshman year.

Your original comment was that he didn't produce ANYTHING last year.

I didnt say that they didnt produce im just saying they didnt do enough for us to be an elite team, and i just have a strong feeling that a powerful running back with speed can put us over the top, and i mean that

In one post you say that no one we mentioned produced and then in your next post you say that Coker produced. Make up your mind. As far as the short yardage, I agree that none of our backs could pick up the short yardage when we needed it.

Yes, you did say they didn't produce.
Apparently, getyopopcornready has been smoking some good stuff.

We all know that Coker didn't produce last year. Well he did produce, but I didn't say that he didn't produce. He didn't produce, but he did.

The way our runningbacks get injured all the time, Creer has a pretty good chance at getting playing time.

You want to throw it more this season? We threw the ball to much last season. We need our running game to produce on a more consistent basis this year, since most/all of our starting receivers will be new to the team.

no we need to throw, thats the problem with us now is that we dont have enuff faith in the players with the talent, just let the guys go out there and play because we probably have the most gifted team in the nation, u think Urban Meyer cared that Percy Harvin had no college experience this season... nope... he was a true freshman and the reason why the Gators won the championship, The game has changed, conservatism does not win championships, In order to be in contention for championships we have to get it to the guys who can make plays and our big playmakers are at receiver
